Train to teach with Impact Education
Train to be a primary school teacher with Best Practice Network’s Primary Initial Teacher Training (ITT) course, supported by an experienced team at The Halifax Academy.
The Halifax Academy, part of Impact Education MAT, works in partnership with Outstanding Leaders Partnership (OLP) to deliver a range of high-quality accredited school leadership qualifications to school leaders and teachers both within and outside of our Trust. OLP, managed by Best Practice Network, is approved by the Department for Education to deliver qualifications, training thousands of UK school leaders nationwide.
Which option is best for you?
Trainees can choose to specialise in either the Early Years (age 3-7 years) or Key Stages 1 & 2 (age 5-11 years). Both options award Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) allowing trainees to teach right across the primary age range.
Choose between two routes: the Teacher Apprenticeship route, which is free for trainees to access or the fee-funded route, which is paid for by trainees. Follow the links below for more information.
